New magazine for business valuators

The European Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (EACVA) and the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) have jointly launched a new professional magazine called the European Business Valuation Magazine (EBVM). It will provide expert analysis and insights on the latest trends and developments in the field of business valuation.

So far, questions about company valuation have mainly been discussed on a national level, for example in the context of national valuation standards or court decisions. EBVM aims to change this and to create a bridge between theory and practice. “The goal of EBVM is to increase the transparency of the practice of corporate valuation in individual European countries and to enable professional exchange on an international level,” explains Klaus Rabel, member of the editorial board.

The first issue covers current topics on 63 pages – from “Valuation Ambiguities under the European Directive on Preventive Restructuring Frameworks” (Marc Broekema, Jan Adriaanse) to “Business Models, Use Cases and Analytical Approaches for Valuation of Asset Data” (Matthias Meitner) and “Unlocking the Value of ESG” (Alexander Aronsohn). In addition, practitioners are offered extensive data on beta factors and multiples on a European level. In the future, other areas of expertise (such as marketing, management, and Excel tips) are also expected to be included in the magazine.

The European Business Valuation Magazine (EBVM) is published four times a year and can be downloaded for free upon registration. https://eacva.com/ebvm/
